We haven't been here in 10 years because the food was bad and the dishes were dirty. So after so long we decided to give it another try, big mistake. Abridged version: Walked in 1 hour before close and was immediately asked 'you know we close at 12 right?' Way to make someone feel welcome. The omelette tasted like it wasn't made with real eggs. The mushrooms tasted like they were re-hydrated. I'm pretty sure I was missing one of the cheeses I ordered. The hash browns weren't cooked long enough, and the pancakes I'm sure were microwaved from a box. If you want good food, head over Denny's in Oakdale. They never disappoint.
If there was an option for no stars I would have chosen that. Unfortunately you have to put at least one star. Performance all around was unprofessional. 7 out of 10 eggs cooked incorrectly. 3 in which were 25% of my plate plate and I only ate merely two. My girlfriend couldn't even finish hers because it was so underdone it was still partially raw. The food entirely was all underdone. The sausage tasted like it was in a fry pan for thirty seconds and the bacon tasted like it was tossed in a dirty pan partially undercooked. The hash browns had absolutely no seasoning, were cold, and hardly cooked. The only thing that was good was the muffin... not to mention our waitress disappeared on us after stating she'd get us boxes. We sat waiting for nearly ten minutes. I wonder where the rush to get us out of there went? Hm. The worst service I have ever had overall. Only the second time I've ever stiffed a place. I've always been a generous tipper because quite a lot of my family are servers so I know what it's like to depend on tips at times. No one is obligated to give a tip, you have to actually earn it. All we know is there needs to be an IMMEADIATE health inspection. Very very unsatisfied and I hope the managers see this so maybe they can make some changes to their staffs attitudes and their overall cleanliness.
I was here 12-11-17 around 2pm and Nichole was awesome. She gave us gluten free menus upon request (mainly for me) and I ended up getting the build your own omelette with diced ham and a side of hash browns and they were amazingly good and delicious
Worked across the street from Perkins when it was built. Recently went there and had turkey dinner. My questions still remains the same, why does restaurant food always have to arrive salted so heavily? We are all capable of adding needed salt, our preferred amount. I know some people will salt away before they even taste while looking out the window. Other problem, is there a policy of having to seat seniors next to folks with out of control children? I asked to be re-seated in an area instead of next to kids. That happened only to have 2 mothers seated next to me at my new booth with screaming babies and toddlers running around. Please look around to see your pattern of seating. We all had kids many years ago and don't need the "enjoyment of mothers who can't or won't control their wee ones." We love them at a distance now. Call me a cranky all man, but I eat out too!
Good food, great prices, and I like the music! The booths could use some updating, otherwise I'd give 5 stars.
